If you are not able to attend an event you have registered for, you have two options

Please note, however, whether these options are made available to you or not depends on the event organizer. If you as the attendee are not able to cancel or forward your ticket yourself, reach out to the event organizer and request the cancellation or forwarding of your ticket. 

Cancelling tickets
If you wish to cancel your ticket, you can follow these steps:

  • Go to your ticket link
  • Click the ticket options on the right-hand corner for the ticket you want to cancel
  • Click 'Cancel registration...' and confirm

Your ticket is now cancelled and the event organizer will arrange the refund for you.

Forwarding tickets
If you know someone who would like to take over your event ticket, you can do the following to forward your ticket:

  • Go to your ticket link
  • Click the ticket options on the right-hand corner for the ticket you want to forward
  • Click 'Forward ticket to...', add the email address of the recipient, and confirm
  • The recipient has to accept the ticket by claiming it for his/her own account

The forwarding is now completed. If the recipient needs a receipt or invoice for the ticket, you need to forward this independently.
